Kiosks and media players need to access the hospitals network to connect to the Flow Manager web server (hosted locally or in the cloud). Wired connections are always recommended and is the normal configuration. If a device is showing a network connection error, such as 'page cannot be loaded', 'DNS error', 'Terminal offline', 'unable to connect to..', the network connection needs to be checked, ensure the network cable is plugged in firmly both into the device and the wall outlet. Network cables can be damaged and it's recommended to try a new cable. A reboot of the device might be required.

The next thing to check is the device getting a valid IP address? This requires accessing Windows on the device, this is typically performed by local IT support. There are specific guides for Accessing the kiosk desktop' and 'Accessing a media player desktop'. A keyboard will be required for this.
